1. General

This policy explains what data may be processed when you use the Baltika Without Noise website, for what purposes, and how a visitor can change their choice.

The site is available at:

The site is an independent author's project about FC Baltika and is not affiliated with FC Baltika, the Russian Premier League, the Russian Football Union or their partners.

The site operator is Alexey Murzinov.

Questions about data processing, removal of materials or changes to this policy can be sent:

Until the email address is in operation, requests are accepted via Telegram.

2. What the site does and does not have

The site has no:

  • user registration;
  • personal accounts;
  • contact forms;
  • comments;
  • newsletter subscription;
  • file uploads by users;
  • mandatory entry of a name, phone number or email address.

The site therefore does not receive a visitor's name, phone number or email address unless the visitor sends them to the operator through an external channel, such as Telegram or email.

3. Technical data

When the site is opened, the hosting provider may automatically receive and store technical information needed to deliver pages, protect the infrastructure and diagnose errors:

  • IP address;
  • date and time of the request;
  • address of the requested page;
  • browser and operating system details;
  • technical details of the connection;
  • server response code;
  • information about errors and abuse attempts.

This data is processed by the respective hosting provider within its technical logs. The site operator does not use it to profile visitors and does not combine it with Yandex Metrica data.

4. Browser settings and the PWA

The site may store the following settings in the browser:

  • the chosen language;
  • the chosen colour theme;
  • the visitor's choice regarding analytics;
  • service counters needed to show the hint about adding the site to the phone's home screen.

This information is kept in the browser's localStorage and is not transmitted to the site operator.

If a visitor installs the site as a PWA or uses offline reading, the browser may keep previously opened pages, images and the site's required files in the device's local cache.

The site operator has no access to the contents of this cache. The visitor can delete it in the browser or device settings.

5. Yandex Metrica

The site may use the Yandex Metrica web analytics service.

Metrica is switched on only after the visitor's separate consent, given by pressing the «Allow analytics» button in the site's notice.

Before consent is given:

  • the Metrica code is not loaded;
  • no analytics events are sent;
  • no analytics cookies are set by the site;
  • the Metrica pixel for browsers without JavaScript is not used.

After consent, the following may be processed:

  • the IP address or its technical part;
  • browser, operating system and device type details;
  • screen resolution and technical browser parameters;
  • visit, session and browser identifiers;
  • cookies set by the Metrica service;
  • addresses of visited pages;
  • the referral source;
  • actions and events on the site;
  • the approximate region of the visit;
  • loading speed and technical error details.

Purposes of processing:

  • aggregate visit statistics;
  • measuring how far articles are read;
  • analysing clicks through to Telegram and to external sources;
  • detecting technical errors;
  • improving the structure, content and usability of the site.

Metrica may process data on the servers of Yandex LLC in accordance with the Yandex Metrica terms of use and the Yandex privacy policy.

On Baltika Without Noise the Webvisor session-recording feature is disabled. Recording of user actions and the click map are not used.

The site operator sees aggregated Metrica reports and does not use them to identify an individual visitor.

6. Cookies

The site itself does not use cookies for registration, authentication, advertising or a personal account.

After consent to analytics, the Yandex Metrica service may set its own analytics cookies and use technical visit and session identifiers.

A visitor can:

  • decline analytics in the site's banner;
  • change their choice on the privacy policy page;
  • delete cookies in the browser settings;
  • block third-party cookies with browser tools.

After declining or withdrawing consent, no new analytics data should be sent to Metrica once the counter is switched off and the page is reloaded.

7. Legal basis

For the technical operation of the site, the information needed to deliver pages, ensure security and diagnose faults is used.

For the use of Yandex Metrica, the legal basis is the visitor's separate consent given through the site's interface.

Consent is voluntary. Declining analytics does not limit access to articles, matches, search, the archive, the Telegram mirror or the PWA.

8. Retention periods

The hosting provider keeps technical logs for the periods set by its rules, technical settings and applicable law.

Site settings stored in localStorage are kept until the visitor deletes them, clears browser data or removes the site from the device.

Pages and images in the PWA cache are kept until the cache is cleared, the PWA is removed, the browser evicts them or the site's data is deleted.

Data processed by Yandex Metrica is stored by Yandex LLC in accordance with the service terms, Metrica settings and applicable law.

The operator does not set a retention period for Metrica data on Yandex's behalf and does not promise immediate deletion of data transmitted before consent was withdrawn.

9. Sharing with third parties

Technical data may be processed by:

  • the site's hosting providers;
  • the Yandex Metrica service — only after consent;
  • infrastructure providers that deliver, protect and run the site.

The site contains links to Telegram, Sports.ru, Klops, the FC Baltika website, Wikimedia Commons and other external resources. After following such a link, data processing is governed by the policy of the respective service.

The Telegram mirror on the site is a static copy of posts saved when the site is built. No Telegram code runs on the mirror pages.

10. Visitor rights

A visitor has the right to:

  • obtain information about data processing;
  • ask for data to be corrected or deleted, where the operator holds it;
  • withdraw consent to analytics;
  • refuse the use of Metrica;
  • contact the operator through the listed channels;
  • lodge a complaint with the competent authority or a court in the manner prescribed by law.

When contacting the operator, please state:

  • the subject of the request;
  • a way to reply to you;
  • the action you require.

If the request concerns the removal of a text or a photograph, please include the page URL and the grounds for the request.

11. Withdrawing consent

You can change your analytics choice on this page with the «Change your analytics choice» button.

After withdrawal:

  • the stored choice is removed from the browser;
  • the banner appears again;
  • Metrica must not load until a new permission is given;
  • no new analytics events are sent.

To fully clear previously set cookies, the visitor can additionally clear the site's data in the browser settings.

12. Changes to this policy

The operator may update this policy when the site, the set of services used or legal requirements change.

The current version is published on this page. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the document.
