Why
A calm tone and context
There is a lot of news around the club and little explanation. Explanation is what matters here: why the coach changes the structure, where a transfer fills a gap, how one player shapes a whole match.
We don't chase publication speed and don't retell press releases. Every text is an attempt to answer one specific question.

Full texts appear in the author's blog on Sports.ru and in a blog on Klops. This site is the showcase: every article, the opening of each text and links to the sources.
The English version is a translation of the cards and openings; the texts themselves are currently published in Russian only.
Principles
How we work
Facts are separated from opinions. Numbers, line-ups and results are checked against official sources; the author's opinion is always marked as opinion.
We don't personalise failures. We analyse decisions and episodes rather than look for culprits.
We correct mistakes openly. If a text contains an error, we fix it and note it in the article.
